So I'm now in Northern Israel, near the Sea of Galilee, where some of the major events of Jesus' Ministry took place. I'll be here for a week on a study tour, and was even asked if I can lead worship with my brother Sosimo next friday! So God has been opening amazing doors, and it has been such a joy, walking step by step in Faith; not faith in this world, or the things of this world, or what I can see, but in the Invisible God, who manifests Himself in so many ways!
Something very interesting, about the video above, that I'd like to share with you, is something that was completely orchestrated by the Hand of God! I'm absolutely convinced! Well about 2 months ago, while I was in the Philippines, I was checking out different video's on the web about Israel. I happened to come across this video I have posted above on YouTube, and God used this video to stir my heart to want to come to some of the toughest places in Israel. The video really shows what Israel went through during the war, and the constant lifestyle of the people in Sderot and Beer Sheva. This past week, as many of you know, I was in Beer Sheva (no rockets were launched, Praise God) and I spent one week exactly with an amazing Godly family. A couple from Rhode Island, now living in Israel for the past 2 years, with there two adorable kids. The man I stayed with is a worship leader at a Messianic Congregation and has written many of his own songs in Hebrew and English. He is very very gifted with the guitar and song writing. So anyways, long story short, he told me that he and his wife and one other guy (the kid who plays the violin I told you all about) got together during the time of the last war, when Beer Sheva and Sderot were getting hit w/about 7 rockets a day, and Anthony wrote the song, and his wife and the other guy played with him. It was so great, that a radio station asked him to play it live, and many people fell in love w/the song. Well it was a blessing, and they made a slideshow video w/the song, and put it on YouTube. TURNS OUT IT IS THE EXACT SAME SONG/VIDEO HEARD AND WATCHED WHILE I WAS IN THE PHILIPPINES! The same song that stirred my heart to want to come, and giving me more peace of confirmation from the Lord to come and serve in the uttermost parts of the world, even the difficult places. I loved the video/song so much I immediately posted it on my facebook page for all my friends to see. A few have even already commented on it. I thank God for using this man, his wife, and a friend to put this song together to bless the Children of God, and the Nation of Israel. See, some cities here may not seem safe to the average human, because what we can see on the surface is horror, rockets landing, suicidal bombers entering in, and much more hazardous situations. But as a FOLLOWER OF JESUS CHRIST, we know Who the One is that is behind the scenes. The saftest place to be is the place where God wants me to be! And I believe this with all my heart! So why fear what men could do to me, when I have Jesus Christ dwelling within me, who doesn't fight against the flesh, because He has already defeated death, and is alive today! So with Him I will stand forever, no matter what men try to do to me! This song really spoke to me and stirred my heart to come to Israel, and suffer for the sake of the Kingdom of God, for the Glory of Jesus! I hope you are blessed as I was with this video. And please continue to pray for the family I stayed with who opened there doors for me to stay, eat, and serve alongside of them, and the ones who also played this sweet song for the Lord! Toda Raba.
(Below: the guy I stayed with the past week who wrote the song in the video above. He is truly an amazing Worship Leader)
Yeshua, "You are Beautiful my Sweet Sweet Song!"
"For I know that this will turn out for my deliverance through your prayer and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ, according to my earnest expectation and hope that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ will be magnified in my body, whether by life or death. For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain."
~ Paul (Philippians 1:19-21)
